Pet care experience
Caring for your pups like my own. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9, starting with my own Golden Retriever while growing up in Costa Rica. Now my husband and I own an Airedale Terrier and Doberman Pinscher. Both are fully house trained, 100% socialized, and the sweetest. They absolutely love hosting furfriends. All the dogs I’ve owned I’ve raised from puppyhood, getting them potty trained, crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. As well as teaching them respect and obedience. I also have experience caring for dogs recovering from surgery, seeing that I’ve already cared for my Airedale Terrier after two surgeries, and my Doberman after a life-threatening intestinal surgery. We moved to Huntsville May 2022 from GA. I used to do Rover back in GA but stopped once we started preparing for the move. When we moved, we went straight into an apartment so couldn’t do Rover from there. Now that we’re finally in a house with a fenced yard, I’m happy to be able to open my doors to Rover pups again!:)
Reviews
Daniela was great! She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures to ensure the walk with our pup went well. She even went back in to fill his water after I forgot to ask ahead of time! Highly recommend!
Great experience
Dani was so helpful and our dog loves her and her husband. She always has great communication and flexibility with our plans and is so nice to work with. We trust her and her husband to take care of our dog!
Wonderful experience and our pup really enjoyed himself. Very nice set up.

We have a 100% fenced-in yard on a quarter-acre lot. I let my dogs out to play in the yard multiple times a day, and clean them up before coming back inside to eat and nap. I feed them twice a day. Your dog(s) will never be out in the yard alone. For the safety of the pack, I usually keep my two dogs separate for the first couple of days with short and sweet interactions so everyone gets used to each other. I don’t let my dogs out into the yard alone with guest dogs ever. I am always outside with them, and will usually only have all dogs outside with me at the same time if my dogs and the guest dog have 100% gotten used to each other — which normally takes several interactions. If for some reason dogs aren’t getting along, I am more than comfortable keeping my dogs separate, especially considering that my dogs are large dogs and we only host small-medium dogs. I love to stimulate the dogs physically and mentally. While in the yard we play fetch, catch, and practice several tricks (any that your pup knows). I also have nylabones in the backyard for dogs to chew— these are completely indestructible! We do not have any soft toys/furry toys/squeaky toys in the house or yard due to the choking/obstruction hazard. We also enjoy going for daily walks in our neighborhood. As I said, we are more than comfortable separating your dog from ours if that is what you desire, though I will say they will probably be kept separate while in the house because ours have their own corner in the house. Rest assured your dog will be safe and loved in our home. Check us out on Instagram @theharrispups

Information Daniela H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs and/or behavioral issues. I prefer to host non-aggressive dogs, and dogs that have been properly socialized. I also ask that you bring your dog’s crate/pen along with his/her bedding and/or blankets. Don’t worry, they most definitely won’t be in their crate all day, I simply use the crates for nap and night time so that each dog can sleep comfortably in his/her own space! And please make sure your dog is on flea and tick prevention. Please let me know about your pup/s’ routine at home! I always try my best to follow that routine while hosting them in my home. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask! Thank you!
A typical day
I love to stimulate the dogs physically and mentally. While in the yard we play fetch, catch, and practice several tricks, and I give them the ocassional break to chew on their nylabones! We do not have any soft toys/furry toys/squeaky toys in the house due to the choking/obstruction hazard. We also enjoy going for daily walks in our neighborhood.

I work part-time at a high-end furniture store in the afternoons. I make sure to play and/or walk with the pups before I go to work so they chill and nap the whole time I’m at work! My schedule is very flexible, and I’m here most of the day to care for the dogs’ needs! If I’m not home for a big chunk of the day my husband comes home from work usually around 4pm so the dogs are not left alone for more than 4-5 hrs tops.
