Pet care experience
We lost our dog, Dave, back in September. He was a rescue with behavioural issues. In his previous home, he was abused by two older dogs, so every dog was an enemy to him. In the five years we were blessed with Dave, we provided him with a safe and loving home. We worked daily and tirelessly to train him to be more comfortable around other animals, and in some instances, people. We helped ease and overcome his fears and issues. No matter how big, small, good, bad or ugly, each day was an experience and an accomplishment. Dave made so much progress over time! He was the first dog my husband and I ever had in our lives. We all learned from one another, and so lucky he was ours. The best decision we ever made was bringing Dave into our life. As cliché as it sounds, it’s the absolute truth...love really does conquer all xo I don't know if we'll ever get another dog, but guaranteed the time spent with your dog will be filled with so much fun, patience and love! By placing your dog(s) with me, I promise I will treat your loved one(s) how we treated our loved one. We'll be raising the RUFF!

It feels like Daniela and Kevin have provided our Bailey with a second home. I can't say enough about how wonderful these two are.
Upon first meeting Daniela and Kevin our cockapoo Rolo felt at ease and quite comfortable in their home. . We also felt that Daniela and Kevin were warm and welcoming and we were happy to leave Rolo overnight for a trial night. We have already booked in future dates and I’m sure Rolo will be happy and looked after x
Daniela is a gentle, kind, responsible caregiver. She was attentive to our 5 year old dog’s chronic pain issues. She sent photos and updates throughout the day. I will absolutely book with Daniela again!
Another great stay with Daniela and Kevin. Bailey happily wags her tail before the door opens so we know she is happy to be there.

We have a fenced yard, no dogs or children, and ample room inside and out for your dog(s) to roam around, play, be my shadow, and chill. Scratch a dog and you’ll find a permanent job, haha. Our house is their house! They have full reign, can jump on furniture, chose between multiple dog beds, or even jump in our bed for cuddles and snoozles!

I can only board or doggy day care two dogs at a time, as long as they are part of the same household. Unfortunately, I cannot accept two individual dogs from two different households. Transparency and honestly is so important. Please let me know in advance any issues, special needs and/or behaviours your dog(s) have. Tell me how they communicate their needs with you or what makes them excited. Happy to always have a meet ‘n’ greet at our home to get to know each other. It’s important for them to get familiar with our house so when they are here, they feel like they are at home! Would also like to know of any allergies, treat preferences, toys (i.e. heavy chewer) and any habits I need to be mindful of. If I did have to step out, how long can your dog(s) be left alone at home? And if I can take them out with me, how are they in public places, and on car rides? For your dog(s) safety and well-being, I prefer not to take your dog(s) to dog parks. I’ll accommodate the needs of your dog(s), diets, feeding and walking schedules, past history (i.e. rescues), before booking. I’ll gather all information to make their stay fun and safe!
A typical day
If your dog(s) is up for it, I like dance paw-ties in the kitchen! We’ll play a bunch of games that will stimulate them mentally and physically. We can play inside the house, and outside in the backyard…whatever they prefer! We’ll go for walks, explore the neighbourhood, check out some local parks, while always being kept on a leash! I also like going for drives, and with your permission, grab a puppacino as a treat! If your dog(s) likes to go to local pet stores, it would be fun to check them out too!

Miss having a dog at home...barks, licks, jumps, zoomies, cuddles, FURR-nishings and all! Since Dave's passing, our neighbours, family and friends have relied on me to take care of their dogs. It’s true what they say, the best therapist has fur and four legs :) I’m am available for Boarding from Thursday evenings to Sundays or Doggy Day Care on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. I update my schedule in 3 month increments. If you are looking far in advance for boarding or sitting, and my schedule is grayed out, please still send me a message as I'll be sure to accommodate! Truly believe that every dog must have their day...they deserve the best!
