Pet care experience
I’m an animal loving guy that has extra time to check in or bring your furry friend for a walk. I am currently employeed at a larger tech company with the ability to work remote. I currently have a golden retriever puppy, and two large Maine coon cats. I am a proud parent of 2 Maine coon cats (18-20lbs each) and have had all types of animals throughout my life. (Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Birds, Fish, etc) Growing up I worked in exotic pet stores handling baby animals for about 3 years ensuring safe care practices and helpign them become familiar with cuddles, pets, and people during the animals young age.

Dan is an excellent pet sitter! He is detail-oriented, easy to communicate with, and took great care of my three cats while I was out of town. My travel plans actually changed at the last minute and I needed to modify my booking. Dan was super flexible and agreed to do additional drop-in visits with no problem. He sent lots of photos and funny, heart-warming stories about what the cats were up to doing each visit. Overall, one of the best pet sitters I've ever worked with! I will definitely book him again!
Dan has been a good friend for many years. As a dog owner, I'd highly recommend Dan for this position. He's very personable and my dog is always excited to see him because Dan always gives him attention and plays with him. Dan is a people person and an animal lover. Currently with my 2 indoor cats at home, it's best to come to your home. Where I like to make sure the pets are comfortable and calm while im visiting. Feeding and cleaning first, but also taking the time to be in their presence before and after a walk or during a visit. So they don't get lonely and also can relax and not be left alone for so long. Usually by playing some soft music and sitting on the floor to allow for some extra pets.

No preference. However, beware I have a beard so would like to make sure your dog is comfortable with that. Sometimes I’ve run into rescues that don’t like a beard. :( I don’t take it personal.
A typical day
Typically I enjoy going for a nice walk, letting everyone get their sniffs in. I get just as excited exploring the route with your dog, seeing what we may or may not see! Love to walk near a park, or on trail. If I'm visiting a cat I enjoy using laser pointers and different toys to make sure we're getting our cat-isthenics done for the day.
