Pet care Braunton

Pet care experience

So I was born loving dogs, without choice, into the majestic shadows of Sam and Zak the golden retriever and German shepherd my parents already owned in 1983. I was guarded 24/7, by both, creating an almost urban version of the Jungle Book as neither would leave my side as I grew through infancy. Then came Cairn terrier Freeway, nicknamed after the most sorry tale of how we came to own him. Freeway was stood to the side of the M55 motorway with nothing but a sign around his neck connected to a leash attached to a fence. The sign read "To your house" followed by "(if I could raise a thumb, I would)" My mom took him from that spot and he managed to live for a few years with us before passing due to a heart defect. A couple of years passed before my mom would come to fall for Mylo, she didn't know if she could do the final vet visit again but Mylo was special. The happiest Jack/Fox cross in the rescue center he never stopped bouncing! I'll always remember his bouncing, it was as if he had his own trampoline permanently attached to his back legs. Mylo was my friend, he saw me through high school, my GCSE's, my first girlfriend, first job, A-Levels and Degree, he was a legend. I would take him on walks everyday and he slept on and in my bed loyally for 17 years! His final year being the only one we could let him off his leash as he had finally slowed down and no longer wanted to run. Saying bye to Mylo was the hardest thing I had done to that date. He never raised his voice once, yet was tormented by new additions to the family (kids). Shortly after Mylo passed I adopted Bobby, a working cocker. He has become a loving and loyal side kick who I love taking for walks all over the UK, he has a ton of energy! Now 8 he has slowed down and lives with my parents in Blackpool who can give him the full time attention he needs.

Another great day of day care for Alfie, he was walked twice with Danny and can home a happy sleepy puppy after a day of play and cuddles.

Danny was great - him and Alf had a chilled day while I was at work and Alf seemed very happy there. Danny sent me a couple of updates during the day, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Danny, we'll be using him again
