Pet care experience
Our family has owned 5 dogs from well-trained labrador, to 12-week old springer spaniels and helped train them into gun dogs, police dogs, and all manner of well-behaved pets. I treat them with kindness and positive reinforcement to get great behaviours and make sure they enjoy their time.

I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Dan to look after Alfie. I always find it hard leaving him when we go away, but Dan put us at ease with regular updates and pictures sent throughout our holiday. When we returned we could tell Alfie had made a new friend and didn't want him to leave. We would recommend Dan to anyone and will definitely be calling upon him again for our next holiday away. I have used crates, dog gates, and open-plan areas to best provide for a pet's needs, and am also well-versed in leashed, harnessed, and free-roam dogs. Each dog comes with its own needs and demands, and I will happily adapt to the situation.

A typical day
With the range of dogs I have looked after, activities can be as simple as long walks / light jogs, to playing fetch or with mentally challenging toys and tricks. I have yet to find the dog that has more energy than me!

Availability
I currently work remotely 4 days a week and can be wherever I need to with my laptop and some good canine company. With regular breaks, I can ensure plenty of walks, bathroom breaks, and attention will be given to any pet. While I do spend time at home with my dog, and plenty of time socialising, I can be made available for longer stays, being more than happy to work remotely for longer periods to accommodate your needs.
