Bark Buddies! Extraordinary Care
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Daniel! I just finished grad school and love animals. :) I grew up in a house filled with dogs and have privately dog-watched throughout my undergrad and graduate school years. You can trust that your pet is in capable and caring hands. Moreover, I am happy to take your trash out to the curb for house-sitting stays and grab your mail. Let's set up a meet and greet!
Reviews

daniel is great. he sends very frequent updates. i can tell he really cares for my pets. my house is always very clean and tidy when i return. i will definitely continue to use daniel's services and recommend him!

Daniel is beyond amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants someone to take care of their beloved pet like he or she was family. Our little pup became ill a few days prior to our two week trip out of the country, and we were concerned about leaving him, and even considered not going. Daniel let us know that he was very confident in his abilities, so we decided to go. While we were away, Daniel went above and beyond taking care of our pup- giving him multiple medications daily, feeding him by hand when he initially would not eat, speaking with the vet several times, and staying up with him many nights in a row to comfort him. Daniel is responsible, resourceful, reliable, calm, and responsive. He kept us informed through our entire trip, giving us great comfort that our pup was in great hands. I am so grateful for the great care and love he gave to our pup since it allowed me to spend the holidays with my family. We are forever grateful.

What a treat for myself and my dogs to get lucky having Daniel house sit for us! So diligent, followed up and took lots of care and attention :)

Daniel was absolutely an amazing sitter, kept me up to date with the dogs and went up and beyond to make sure the dogs were taken care of!

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety by all means. I grew up with many small dogs and have become hypervigilant when recognizing agitated or aggressive dog behaviour in other animals. I always err on the side of caution.

A typical day
Let's start the day off with a walk! Either by the beach or at the park. Something that won't be overstimulating for the dog. Then, in the afternoon, let's play in an environment more familiar, such as the backyard or the local park. In the evenings, one last time, we need to get the jitters out, and then let's create a calm environment suitable for sleeping.
