I come from a dog-owning family, in which I spent a great deal of time caring for large and small animals of different temperaments (Golden Retriever, Black Labrador/Pit Bull, Bijon Frisé - specifically). I’m the type of person who will take extra time to greet a pet when visiting a friends home! With our dogs at home, I have spent time specifically working on communication (sit, stay, come), and leash walking in public and private.
