Pet care experience
I’ve lived with dogs and cats (and fish, and gerbils, and birds, and even a chinchilla) since I was born! I love animals of all kinds, and have volunteered at pet shelters for several years, in Baltimore (my previous home) and Boston. I’m available on weekends, and my partner will be able to help out too. I’m a medical student, and she works in pharmacology - we think our experience in care will help us care for your dog or cat especially well! (Plus, we are at home all the time studying or working, and pet sitting gives us a reason to go outside :-) ) Thank you for allowing to take care of your pet! We can’t wait to meet you and him or her. ***Please note: we charge our rates on a 24 hour schedule -- that is, each night is 24 hours. If your overlap will be a coule hours over that, it is totally fine! But, if it will be another full day, we should negotiate that :) Thank you!

Daniel and Irene are so incredibly sweet! I had no idea how attached I am to my 11 year old's dog until we had to leave her somewhere for the weekend! We brought Emma to stay with them on short notice, after it became clear that our exuberant little girl was not ready for a weekend with 50 other dogs at doggy daycare. At the meet and greet they asked fantastic questions, took notes, and were unfazed by Emma's racing around the house and exploring her new surroundings. She loved both Daniel and Irene, but she ADORED Daniel, who welcomed her jumping up in his lap and smothering him with kisses. We got several pictures of her exploring and cuddling throughout the weekend. She seems like she had fun! We would definitely call them again! Thank You!!
Daniel & Irene are fantastic hosts! They asked all the right questions about Bobby's routines and unique needs, and were extremely flexible with pick-up/drop-off times. From the photos, it looks like Bobby had a blast!
Dan and Irene are terrific. They took great care of our dog while we were away for a family wedding. They are very kind & caring and our cockapoo could sense that from the outset and had no trouble transitioning to them. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
I am so thankful for Daniel & Irene taking such great care of our poodle, Stella! They took her on amazing walks and sent great pics to keep us posted on how she was doing. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!!

Unfortunately, our lease does not allow Pit Bull Terriers, German Shepherds, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Chow Chows, Presa Canarios, Akita’s, Wolf Hybrids, and Alaskan Malamutes. It also doesn’t allow dogs over 40 pounds. If it was up to us, we would look after any dogs - we love them all. I am glad to come visit and/or walk any breed or size of dog!
A typical day
We like to go on walks either first thing in the morning or in the afternoon - there is a great park just a couple blocks away that I drive to for larger dogs, or for smaller dogs we can walk around our neighborhood.
