Hey there. I’m Daniel - a 27 year old business owner who primarily works from my home near downtown Boulder. Our space is generally peaceful and dog safe with a nice backyard enclosed by a high fence. Most of our visiting dog friends seem to greatly enjoy their time spent in the fresh air under the shade of one of our large trees. Otherwise, I’m happy to fall in to the routine you have together at your own home, or to be creative in finding an entertaining way to spend our time together specific to their needs. I’m almost wholly flexible, down to earth, and happy to accommodate specific requests that may otherwise seem quirky or high maintenance - as I’m not one to be easily burdened or flustered. Daniel took great care of my home and my blind senior pup while I traveled over the holidays, no small feat given that temperatures plunged to nearly 30 below zero with the wind chill, with nearly a foot of snow. He was patient and persistent in getting my dog outside to do his business safely, putting on his dog booties to prevent his feet from freezing and keeping me apprised of how he was doing.

If I could give Daniel a million stars, I totally would. We are new to the area, so finding him was a literal blessing after the boarding place we had chosen turned out to be far from what they advertised. To add to the mix, Zelda got sick the night before we went on a trip that was already stressful for us. Daniel took excellent care of her, kept in constant touch with us, alerted us of things he was concerned about and, to top it off, he went to rescue her from Marshall Fire when our home was under warning for evacuation. This story has a happy ending since our home survived the fire unscathed and we are now reunited with her. He gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing our baby was in great hands!
We could not be more grateful for Daniel and the way he cared for our pup, Juniper. We have never left Juniper with another human before which was a bit anxiety provoking, but my worry was quickly eased by Daniel's consistent updates of how well she was doing. I could not recommend Daniel highly enough- he is deeply knowledgeable about dogs, loves to spend time with them outside, and is communicative with us humans.

Between walks and play time, I can most often be found hanging out by the side of my new furry friend working, reading, or giving butt scratches.
