I have cared for animals my whole life. Professionally I use operant conditioning and positive reinforcement to train wildlife for educational programming. I also do behavior/husbandry consultations with other organizations and individuals. I have dogsat on the side for years and have owned dogs my whole life. I have also worked within vet clinics and have a basic knowledge of medical care for high need animals. I am comfortable and have experience working with the following species: dogs, cats, companion birds (large and small), chickens, reptiles/amphibians, insects, small mammals, and fish. Professionally, I have also worked with raptors, ravens, porcupines, fish and herp species. I work full time during the weekday, but have a variable schedule since I care for animals, meaning I have some flexibility throughout the week for dogsitting. I am a full on behavior nerd and love shaping behavior using positive reinforcement and least intrusive methods to allow humans and animals to live comfortably and happy together.
