I took a two year break from Rover because my wife and I welcomed two foster kiddos into our home. It didn't work to also take care of dogs. But the house is empty again now, and we are ready to welcome back four legged friends. We both work full time from the office, so dogs will need to be able to go 8+ hours without being let out if care is needed on a weekday. It's also possible we will have kiddos here now and then, so we would discuss that ahead of time. I grew up with Jack Russell terriers but haven't lived with dogs as an adult. We have a great fenced in yard, lots of good walking routes, and are fine with dogs on all three floors of our house and on any furniture. They pretty much get full reign and will be the center of attention. Luckily, we don't need the extra cash, so you can rest assured that we are definitely doing this for the love of dogs and not for the money.
