I’ve taken care of my own dog, since I was a kid probably like around 6. I used to play with my dog basically everyday, right now I have two dogs. one of them is a Labrador retriever, she is very friendly, loves to cuddle and play, I spend all day with her because I'm always home, since I work from home and just during the morning. I feed her, take her to the bathroom, go out for walks, play with the ball. Sometimes I take care of my friends pets and it’s cool, more of the same, feeding them, must of the time playing with them because basically I love playing with pets and taking care of them, It makes me happy and I would love to keep doing it

A typical day
I wake up around 4 in the morning but for example with my dog, she sleeps until 7am, then I take her out for her to potty, then at 8 I feed her and I take her to potty once again a few minutes after she eats, we also spend some time outside just for her to explore. then we come inside and play with toys. basically I have all day to spend with your dog to walk or play outside with the ball and bunch of fun stuff

Currently I am working any day from Monday to Friday but only in the morning and I work from home, I can take take of any dog while I work from home too, just how I do with my dog.
