We have a sweet Lab and Golden Retriever who are both friendly, welcoming, submissive, and sharing. We understand that your pup is your baby and that you may feel some level of concern when you need to board him/her. We provide many photo updates of your pup during the booking and are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have while you are away. We do our best to provide a fun, loving home that your pup will be comfortable in and also strive to make you feel confident and comfortable so that you can enjoy a stress-free trip. :) *We do require a meet-n-greet prior to a first time booking so that we can make sure that everyone is a good fit for each other. Dogs that stay with us MUST be house-trained (no marking or chewing on corners/furniture/shoes/etc.), obedient, vaccinated, flea medicated, and must get along with other dogs. Our overnight booking starts on the first date that you select and ends on the last date you select. Our overnight booking rate will pay for 26hrs of care (per night booked). This means that if you book for one night and drop off your pup at 8AM, your overnight charge will pay up to 10AM the following day. If you need to pick up later than the 26hr time period, this will need to be arranged beforehand and will be charged an additional $15 (similar to a “late check-out" charge that you would pay at a hotel). Drop off and pick up times need set before a booking is accepted. How do you communicate? We like to communicate via Rover. This way everything stays on the record and we are all able to easily keep track of our conversations. We do use the Rover app so we are able to send photos and respond to your message quickly. If you do not have the ability to download the Rover app (or wish to), you will receive all our correspondence via email from Rover. Are pick-up and drop-off times flexible? No, pick-up and drop-off times are NOT flexible. Although we work from home most of the time, we arrange our work schedules around pick-up and drop-off times. We appreciate that our time is respected and that you are prompt. If you are delayed by more than 15 minutes, we ask that you communicate this with us PRIOR to your drop-off or pick-up. There will be an additional $15 charge if you’re late and don’t communicate with us. We do understand that at times there are circumstances out of your control and we will try to work with you if you keep in contact and communicate your situation. What do I need to bring for the booking? Your pup will need his/her food, a food bowl, and his/her bed (blanket, crate, or whatever he/she sleeps in). If your pup has separation anxiety, you may also want to bring one of your worn t-shirts (not washed) that has your scent on it so your pup can cuddle with it when he/she misses you. My dog is leash aggressive but is perfectly friendly off leash. Is this fine? Unfortunately, we are not able to accept dogs that are leash aggressive. We define leash aggression as barking, growling, or lunging at people or dogs while on a leash. We live in an apartment community and have to keep all dogs on leash while we are going outside. While your pup is on a leash, it is very probable that we will come in contact with other people and pups in the hallways. For this reason, we cannot accept a dog that could cause harm or even make someone else fear that they will be harmed in any way.
