With over 20 years of experience, I bring my medical training and army discipline to professional dog training at Sit Happens Dog Training, while my wife, a devoted stay-at-home mom, imparts her love through her delicious homemade sourdough bread and homeschooling our three children. Together, we’re a duo of ‘dog whisperers,’ ensuring every dog feels at ease in our care. Our children are also actively involved, learning valuable lessons in responsibility and care. You might spot us at local events and farmer’s markets from Jacksonville to Orlando, often accompanied by our three little ones and a merry band of dogs. Feel free to approach us and say hello! Our passion for animal welfare is at the heart of our service, providing top-tier care to all our furry guests, complete with daily updates, photos, and videos to keep you connected during their stay. We take pride in offering only the finest treats, snacks, bones, and chews, with a preference for organic produce sourced from local, family-run farms. Additionally, we provide our guests with pure reverse osmosis filtered water for their health and well-being. Our accommodations include pristine orthopedic beds, soft blankets, a range of kennel sizes, absorbent mats, and ergonomic food bowl stands. We’ve thought of everything, so you only need to bring their regular food. Pets enjoy a private area for dining and sleeping, and with responsible behavior, they’re free to use the dog door to explore outdoors throughout the day. We maintain a spotless home environment, using only non-toxic, vinegar-based cleaning solutions. Our yard is a safe haven, treated with natural products to protect both pets and children. The dog door provides secure access to our backyard, which is fortified against even the most clever escape artists

Pets are a constant in our family’s routine, every hour of every day! As a vibrant and health-minded family of five, we welcome your pet into our fold, involving them in all our daily escapades. From morning strolls to adventures at dog parks, exploring local trails, enjoying the beach, or visiting farmer’s markets—if it’s pet-friendly, we’re there. When the weather turns, we’re just as content to snuggle up on the couch, engage in indoor play, or relax in our lanai. Our homeschooled children are hands-on, assisting with walks, playtime, cuddles, and feeding. Beyond our home, we’re committed to the canine community, fostering dogs and collaborating with local shelters to secure loving, permanent homes for them. We’re deeply embedded in the world of dogs, and it’s a passion we live out daily.
