RidgeWoof Littles Walks & Boarding

Pet care experience

I've always been a dog lover/owner since I was a kid and I've been working with dogs since 2021. I grew up with a 100lb black lab as the little brother I always wanted. I've always felt an affinity with dogs and handling 30+ dogs everyday at a daycare has helped me learn and tune into dog behaviors and keep them happy and safe together. It's also given me the skills and confidence to quickly and effectively handle trouble should it arise. I'm also trained and certified in canine first aid and CPR. I can walk any dog. I can board any dog that gets along well with my two Chihuahua mixes. Usually other small dogs or senior dogs that just kinda hang out are great . I'm open to try out most dogs for at least a night if they get along with 2 small dogs that might try to boss them around. Let's talk!

I'm very picky when it comes down to who I will trust with my beloved dog Walter. When I was told that Dan boards dogs I was so happy. I've found the place that I can leave Walter and know that he is with a human who loves dogs and will be taken care of like he's family. Some say a dog is a great judge of character. I believe that's true and when I see how excited Walter is to see Dan I know I've done the best I can do in finding the right place for him to stay when I'm away.

Our beloved pups — one of which has some special needs and doesn't always take to new people and places — stayed with Dan for most of a week and I think they didn't want to leave! Dan not only took excellent care of them but also of us, sending regular updates and pictures to set our minds at ease. He even got one photoshopped to depict them as little adorable pirates — a little treasure that continues to make us smile. Dan's a really nice guy, who has a nice way with dogs and a house set up to accommodate them. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter.

I am always nervous leaving my two Queenslands. Dan allayed my worries with the first visit, playing with my two dogs and establishing a strong presence that my two responded to positively. i recieved caring friendly updates when i asked for them during my trip. my pack was happy and healthy when i arrived home. i would absolutely leave my dogs in Dan's capable care!

Dan is dependable, always shows up on time and has asked all the right questions about how to make sure my dog was comfortable and safe walking with him, including our routines on walks. From the moment I saw them interact, it was apparent that Dan's goal was to calmly do the best for my pooch. He's always communicated well, letting me know how things went on walks and it means a lot to me to see that my dog is so happy to trot off with him.

Safety, trust & environment

I rarely leave my dogs behind and there's only a few people I trust to care for my boys when I'm gone. I can be that person for you! Your pets safety and well being is my number one priority. I will treat them like my own dogs whom I treat like my own children if I had any. My back yard is fully fenced. There is always fresh water accessible. On walks, I will keep your dog on leash and under control at all times. If your dog needs to run, I'm not opposed to jogging with them for a few miles. My dogs are sometimes the jealous fun police but are physically harmless. Unless your dog gets provoked by occasionally obnoxious little dogs then everything will go smoothly. I haven't really had any issues yet. I just know that my dogs don't always get along with every other dog. They seem to be getting less fussy each time we host a new dog.

Information Daniel B. would like to know about your pet

Allergies? Past injuries? Fears and anxieties? Superceding motivations like unexpectedly chasing a motorcycle, rc car, birds, squirrels, deer etc and won't immediately respond to commands? Does your dog dig under our climb over fences. Can you dog open doors or gate latches?

A typical day

I usually like to walk dogs somewhere scenic and stimulating but I've noticed most dogs are pretty stimulated as long as it's not the same route every time. Variety is the spice of life. When we're at my home they're free to play but usually just lounge around or bask in the yard.
