Pet care experience
Hello, Rover community! We are two remote workers and dog dads available for in-home boarding. I work in the childcare industry as an online Trust & Safety Specialist and have a Tuesday - Saturday 8 am-4 pm schedule, and my partner Rico is a Senior Art Director with a Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm schedule. Because of our flexible jobs, we'd like to help out other pet parents. I used to work in the pet care industry as a dog walker and pet sitter, so while your dog is here, you can expect it will be as loved and comfortable as our own pet!

Daniel did such a great job with my 4 year old cat! He's very knowledgeable about pet health thanks to his experience working at Kriser's, a natural pet food store. My cat has a fairly complicated diet due to some health problems, but I barely had to tell Daniel how and when to feed him, he picked up on it immediately! Daniel is also incredibly nice and trustworthy, I will definitely have him watch my cat again in the future!
Daniel often dogsits for me when I go out of town for work and he is the person I trust most aside from myself to take care of my greyhound Dreamer. Dreamer loves hanging out with his Uncle Daniel, and Daniel takes such good care of him. Last time I went out of town, Dreamer was pretty sick and Daniel went above & beyond to clean up the messes and get Dreamer what he needed, taking him to the vet, administering his meds, and keeping me informed. I'm so grateful for all the help he gives me and Dreamer when I have to go away. I highly recommend him as a dog sitter, and having seen him with other dogs as well, they seem to really gravitate to him! If you're in need of someone to watch your pup, definitely consider him!

We live in a clean and newly renovated apartment. Feel free to bring any toys, treats, a dog bed, etc. that will make your dog feel more comfortable.

We would like to know your dog's overall demeanor and personality, likes, dislikes, tips, and tricks to make your dog happy, any medical concerns, feeding instructions, and things of that nature. We have an 8-year-old Shiba Inu. She is mostly indifferent to other dogs and doesn't like going outside (she's like a cat!), but she can sometimes be a bit snippy if dogs are getting in her face too much. Our home is more suited to dogs that are laid back, maybe around the same age, and less energetic and playful. When we have taken her to board she usually hangs with other seniors. I'm always keeping an eye on her and any other dogs that are visiting us. Also, for safety reasons, we do not accept retractable leashes. We would prefer you provide a harness and standard leash for your dog, as that is the safest setup.
A typical day
We're fortunate to live right next to the beautiful Horner Park! If your dog is up for it, we'll definitely check out the park for a stroll.
