Pet care experience
Starting out on a farm, i have learned so much! I have owned, and showed my market steers (4-H Beef Club) and horses and spent time training my personal dogs. I started training horses and giving lessons after going to college to complete my diploma in the western coaching program. I love my animals and they will always be part of my life. Once finished, i started my journey into the dog world. I have worked with Team Canada level agility trainers as well as many other trainers while i managed a Dog Daycare and Training Facility. I am familiar with many dog sports and trainers/behaviourists. I personally love to take classes with my husky in barn hunt, agility, and pet therapy. Currently we are practicing but hope to compete in the near future! My goal is to provide care that is not only enriching a pup's life, but to provide a loving and caring "home away from home" through positive reinforcement training, exercise, and enrichment to ensure any pup's success in our human world. I am very passionate about doing what is best for the individual dog. I have experience with leash reactivity, resource guarding, leash pulling, impulse control, recall, and more. I offer 1 on 1 boarding (i do have a personal dog) to ensure all needs are met, as well as sending updates every 2-3 days. I have known Danica for over three years. My dog Kai loves spending time with her. He responds to her training and loves exploring new places on their outings. I have left Kai with Danica many times when I have been on holiday. She is very responsible and caring and a very good trainer.I have no problem recommending her to other pet owners.
Danica does an amazing job of taking care of our dog Lily. Lily is very attached to her people but when we drop her off with Danica she doesn’t even look back at us. Danica is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. We are so lucky to leave our baby with such a wonderful person!
I have known Danica for 5 years. I met her and have known her when she had a dog and horses of her own and I didn't have one. Coming from a farm background i knew the kind of care that all animals need. The respect and love she treated her own personal animals was absolutely phenomenal! When I seen that I knew that's she deeply cared so much for any sort of animals whether they be her own or any individual ones. Fast forward 3 years and got a dog of my own. I could not ever be able to recommend anyone better than Danica to take care of my amazing but sometimes challenging dog. The amount of knowledge and information that this young lady has and has been able to pass along to me, is absolutely a life changing experience. If she doesn't know an answer to a question then you can bet your boots she will find an answer for you whether it be through research or her own connections! She is the only one that I would ever have to take care of my dog.
For the last 3 years Danica is the only person I trust with my dog Ella. She creates a safe space, engaging enviroment and even take my pup on adventures with her and her dog. My dog is shy, she's a pandemic rescue, so people are tough for her but Danica is really good with her and for her.

Pups will have all needs met daily depending on what they need per day. If they had so much fun yesterday physically, we can always have a rest day with mental games today. A typical day
Past clients have mentioned it is like their dog is at summer camp! I love to take the dogs for walks outside, on a long line, in stores, go to dog facilities for agility, and visit the local greenhouse. I have a ton of scent games they can work on as well as scent detection. Lakes, rivers, and parks are always lovely to visit as well. Sometimes we may venture to the farm as well to meet some cows and horses.
