Pet care experience
Just moved to Seattle from Marysville, looking forward to exploring Seattle with new fur friends! Growing up, I had a dog, Siberian Husky, so I learned how to take care of a dog (very energetic that one) at a young age. Also, growing up, I volunteered at my hometown's local animal shelter, so I walked various dog breeds with various backgrounds. Later, I had an experience taking care of a dog with separation anxiety, and it was a learning experience. Also, it is not just dogs; I have sat various pets, from cats to fish to birds. I also used to work at a wildlife rehabilitation center, caring for various wildlife (although they are not pets), but I love all kinds of animals.

Incredibly responsive and thoughtful!
As a first-time Rover user, I was a little nervous about having someone new watch my cat, but Danica did a great job! He tends to be pretty nervous around new people, but he warmed up to Danica pretty quickly. I really appreciate Danica's communication and attention to detail, and will certainly ask her to cat sit in the future.

I always ask clients for their preferences on how to take care of their pets. All pets vary, and some need more care than others. I also require to know any of the meds or allergies (if have any) so I can make sure each pet gets proper and personalized care.

I would like to know about any dietary restriction and medications that petS have. I also want to know any behaviors that I should be aware of (separation anxiety, rather to not be with other dogs/animals, sensitive to certain nosies/actions, etc).
A typical day
I would take dogs on walks to nearby parks if there are any where dogs are currently at. I also will drive them to dog parks if owners would like to. I enjoy playing fetch, tug-o-war and game of tag/chase with dogs. I also don't mind giving car rides if dogs love car rides.
