Hello, my name is Dani! I’m a life-long animal lover and I have raised my own pets (ranging from cats, to dogs, to iguanas, to horses) for the majority of my life. I have a Golden Retriever of my own who loves walks, swimming, chuck-it. We love to go on hikes/camping trips often. I'd like to use my free time to help give other dogs the same experience while their owners are busy! My approach to pet-care is to let them be them goofy selves, while still maintaining their training. I’ve trained several dogs throughout my life, and enjoy working on tricks and manners with them. I have experience with all kinds of personalities, whether your furry friend be friendly, hyper, or... "anti-social"-- I've dealt with it all! I’ve administered oral and topical medications. I have experience with extended dog-sitting, drop-in’s, and more!

I have a fenced in yard that your pets are free to roam, but am more than happy to offer services in your home as well. I have one wonderful dog of my own, who would be there during your pet’s stay. If there’s anything astray while doing a drop-in/sitting visit, I’ll take care of it and inform you. I’ll leave your space better than I found it. I will not bring my dog inside with me during drop-in visits unless necessary and spoken about beforehand!

(Diet, meds, etc.) What is your dog’s favorite thing to do? Is your dog crate trained? Where does your dog typically sleep?
A typical day
Rooney and I either already go on walks every day, or find time to hit the trails outside of Jacksonville or get a game of chuck-it in at the fenced in school nearby. We love to sit out in the yard and roll in wood-chips and run as well.

Availability
My work schedule is flexible, and I have a beloved dog that I’m already very active with. Rooney loves other dogs, but likes to meet dogs for the first time on neutral ground. He feels less betrayed by me, and that he has made a new friend instead.
