I am a veteran pet caretaker, having years of professional experience working in multiple large boarding kennels, as well as doing in-home care for dogs and cats of all breeds, temperaments, and ages. My main source of work is as a professional dog trainer, so I am equipped to care for dogs of a variety of temperaments and behavioral needs. I love dogs and cats, and when working with me you can be assured that your pet will be in caring, gentle hands.

Dani takes such great care of my dogs! She's patient with my anxious shelter dog and knows how to wear out my high energy cattle dog. I know I can trust her to give them their medications properly and take them on long walks when I'm out of town. Plus she's a high quality dog trainer with years of experience with all types of dogs. I wouldn't put the care of my dogs in anyone else's hands.
Wow, what can I say about Dani?! Her compassion for our furry friends is incredibly apparent. She was so thoughtful and kind with my big girl! Dani is so great with pets! She actively works to make their experience and yours as comfortable as possible and treats every pet as if it’s her fur baby. She is also an amazing dog trainer so she’s great with problematic behavior from dogs as well. She has watched/worked with my German shepherd many times. She handles his special diet and meds, as well as some of his behavioral issues perfectly. I happily recommend her to anyone that needs help with pet sitting especially if your pet requires special care in some form or another, she is definitely up to the task. Anyone is lucky to have her in their corner as a pet sitter.

As a veteran pet caretaker, I understand that I have the capacity to improve your pet's wellbeing while you work or travel, and that is what I aim to do. When dropping in for home visits, I want to make sure that I meet the pet's needs as completely as possible - so if a cat misses their person who is traveling, I might want to spend some extra time cuddling with them. If a cat is high energy, I would spend time playing with them. I strongly feel that drop-in visits should not just give your pet food and water, but some of the normal comforts they are used to when you are home. When walking your dog, I always want to make sure that I am engaged with them so that I can meet their need for stimulation and interaction, and to make sure that I am reinforcing good outside habits.

Please let me know if your pet requires any medications or has special medical or behavioral needs. I am able to work with pets who are shy or anxious, but it's important for me to know ahead of time so that I don't accidentally spook them. I am also happy to administer your pet's medication, so long as you leave comprehensive instructions regarding dosage and timing.
A typical day
I know so many fun games for dogs! We can do sniff and seek treats, learn new tricks, chase toys, run around together, play tug, and so much more. With cats, I love to play with the toy and pretend to be a bird or mouse for them to catch. Some cats just prefer massages, and I'm happy to do that too. I love being physically and emotionally attentive to animals.
