Pet care experience
I’ve owned and sat for friends’ dogs and other pets (cats, horses) all of my life. I have experience taking care of senior dogs, giving medication, training puppies, and helping with anxiety training. We currently have Vigo, a 2yr old friendly Havanese who is a therapy dog. He loves to host other dogs and doesn’t resource guard. He would be available for a meet and greet if you’d like to meet him before booking. We work from home 5 days a week and are available to provide a caring, fun, and flexible environment for your pup. As you have to go back to the office, we’re available to provide a tailored stress-free environment for your dog. We’re an alternative to expensive crowded day care, and can work with you to meet your dog’s needs.

Dani and her pup, Vigo, are the ABSOLUTE BEST! I am so thankful for them watching my pup, Ollie, while I work. Ollie has extreme separation anxiety, but Dani made him feel right safe and comfortable. Ollie can also be pretty spoiled and needy, and Dani totally embraces it. She is super flexible and caring, and we’re so lucky to have found her! It is such a relief to know that he is so well cared for. The pictures were so great to receive. Thanks again for putting my worries at ease. You guys are AMAZING!
Cannot recommend enough! Super loving, attentive, love dogs and will play and spoil your beloved pet! Active and have another super friendly dog that can provide the perfect company and play buddy. Work from home so perfect for dogs that require supervision and keep them engaged and entertained. Really lovely house with space for pets to roam but also dog proof. A lovely couple and incredibly kind people to work with, cannot recommend this enough for your pet!!!

The dogs have free roam of the house, where they can choose where to rest. We have dog beds and couches for them to nap while we work. If you’re new we’ll make sure your pup is near me during the work day, and have beds near my desk so we can make sure they’re comfortable and resting. As they get more comfortable, your dog can choose where they want to rest. Rain or shine your dog will be walked a couple of times a day depending on drop-off and pick-up. We will also let your dog out supervised in our backyard to stretch and have a sniff during the day. Unlike expensive daycare, there are no hidden charges for walks or personalised care.

A typical day
The dogs usually go on walks in the neighborhood and sometimes we take a stroll in Rock Creek or Fort Slocum. In the house, we usually take turns playing fetch, or hide and seek, and let the dogs have their pick of toys to play with. They can also have a sniff-ari in the backyard once or twice a day.

I’d work with you to ensure your dog gets the exercise and play they need during the day. I usually go out 3 times during the day for walks, and have a fenced backyard for the pups to play during the day if the weather is good. I’m also able to tailor their food schedule to their needs.
