I own a very rambunctious whippet, Artie and it has taken years of patience, love, and consistent-positive training. He is my world. We generally spend 2-4 hours playing outside, running, high-energy sprinting (the fun of having a sighthound!) and smelling all over, followed by some cuddly naps. I grew up with a great dane, that lived to be 14 years old. Cultivating the bond between a gentle giant and child (me) early on really shaped my view and love for puppers. I love animals of all varieties and the feeling is definitely mutual. I think trying to understand the individual needs of each dog takes time, and patience, but is ultimately extremely beneficial for both parties. I strive to be the person my dog thinks I am!
