Edit: I'm moving to Shanghai to teach ESL for a year! I'll return in 2019. Hiya! I grew up in Kansas with lots of furry family members of which I would care for extensively as their companionship was both sincere and joyful. At Kansas State University, I studied Animal Sciences & Industry with a Business option and Women's Studies. After college, I joined Teach for America and taught middle school science four years. I've been pet-sitting for friends off and on since moving to Houston and personally am the caretaker of a four-year-old cat, named Javert. I have experience caring for mammals (including rodents such as hamsters, mice, rats), reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Dogs especially are therapeutic and I wish to work with them again as my life opens up to more possibilities. I look forward to spending time caring for cherished furry loved ones.

DaNesha is a fantastic human being! This was my first time leaving my pup at home for an extended period of time, as well as my first time booking a sitter for the extent of my stay. My pup can be a bit timid at times, but DaNesha got along with her famously. She sent pictures of my little goofball and you could tell that they were getting along. I was very thankful to have met DaNesha and I will absolutely be looking for her support in any future sitting needs! DaNesha is incredibly smart and has a vast background with all sorts of animals and loves them to bits. Thank you again for making me feel comfortable while I was away, showing me that my pup pup was in good hands!

A typical day
There are several parks/dog parks/trails near my apartment in Montrose such as the Buffalo Bayou Park, which is conducive to dog walks and other play. As a disc golf player, I'd love to play fetch/frisbee with the dogs and other activities to maximize exercise.
