I have loved dogs since I was a toddler. My first dog was a boxer named Penny, we had her before I was born and until I was a toddler. A few years later we adopted Katie, a Treeing Walker Coon Hound who quickly became my best friend. I still miss her every day. Now I have a Great Dane named Valkyrie, who is very sweet, but a bit high energy. She is a huge couch hog. I have experience sitting my friends' dogs, walking and playing with dogs. The only experience I don't have is training. I also have some medical training (humans) and am diligent and calm in emergency situations. When someone is hurt (including animals) I am always the first person to respond.
