Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my whole life as my first dog, Nicholas was my best friend for the first 12 years of my life. I own 3 dogs now- a golden retriever and two german shepherd lab mixes as well as 3 cats who all get along great! I stumbled upon a job in Rochester as a kennel attendant at a vet office for a year and a half in which I learned so much about signs, things to look out for, medical issues and much more. My dream one day is to own a house or farm big enough to rescue animals, especially older ones that are in need of a home. I am very reliable and flexible as schedule goes. I can be there for you last minute and I will always treat your pup as one of my own!
Reviews
Danah did great job taking care of our dogs and cats while we were out of town. She was reliable, followed instructions, and sent us photos and updates on how they were doing. The pets seemed to really enjoy having Danah stay with them and I felt comfortable leaving them in her care.
Danah agreed to be with Cat 2 extra days with very little notice. She uses her cat magic to cuddle with my introverted cat!
Danah did a great job taking care of our two cats!! She went above and beyond. We loved getting daily updates and pictures while we were away. We will definitely be using her again in the future!
Danah is an excellent caregiver. She went out of her way to locate my cat when CAT didn't show up early. She manages to earn her trust, though CAT is very skeptical of most people.

No breed preferences although I was attacked by a rottweiler when I was younger so I would like to be aware of any aggressions. At the vet office we would work with "will-bites" in which we had to take extra precautions.
A typical day
My family and I are big hikers and explorers of nature! We love finding new trails and fields to play in! My dogs are obsessed with tennis balls (I regularly buy them in quantities of 100 on ebay) and we love to take them to an open field to run their hearts out! We are new to the area so we are still exploring new trails which is the fun of it all, new smells!! While working at a vet office I learned different ways to play with different types of dogs. For instance older dogs or breeds such as bulldogs you have to understand they have limits and recognize those.
