Pet care experience
My love for animals emerged at a young age as I cared for cats, dogs, and my own rabbit. I eagerly took on responsibilities in their care as early as five years old. As a teenager, I began pet sitting for neighbors, expanding my knowledge of various pet needs and personalities. As the years passed, my dedication to animals flourished, and I immersed myself in professional roles within the pet care industry. For three years, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I continued to exercise ensuring the safety and well-being of animals under my care. Around that same time, I began fostering adult dogs and puppies, providing them with love, care, and a chance at a better life. My passion for animals is not only a personal calling but also a path I pursue academically. Currently studying wildlife and conservation biology, with a minor in animal behavior, I am eager to contribute to animals’ well-being on a broader scale. I was privileged to be an intern last summer at a dog training facility, where I continued to learn about animal behavior and build on my knowledge. With enthusiasm and a lifetime of hands-on experience, I am devoted to making a positive impact on the lives of animals and providing exceptional care to all those entrusted to me.

I would also like to be aware of any specific dietary requirements, allergies, or preferences your dog may have so I can ensure they receive the appropriate food and treats. Details about any behavioral quirks, like separation anxiety, feelings toward other animals, general nervousness, or fear of certain noises, will also be valuable to help me tailor our activities and interactions to suit their preferred lifestyle. By understanding your dog's individual needs ahead of time, I can prepare to personalize their time with me to create a positive, stress-free environment.
A typical day
I will ensure your dog receives plenty of love, attention, and playtime throughout the day. We'll go for exciting walks and explore new trails, as well as playing games like fetch and tug of war. I can provide enrichment activities such as interactive puzzle toys and treat-dispensing games to keep your dog engaged and to wear them out mentally as well as physically. And of course, plenty of cuddling and belly rubs will be included. This is my third year at UNH, so I know the best spots for play and adventure. I acknowledge that every animal is different, so if your dog just wants general care, I have no problem giving them space as well - every activity will be tailored to suit your pet’s preferences.

I’m currently in school at UNH so I generally have a few classes each day but I’ll be free besides that. Depending on location, I might be able to drop in between classes during the week, but I am often free at night and over the weekend.
