I have a Bichon mix of my own, he is neutered, very chilled and 7 years old. I offer home boarding, with 2-3 walks a day, trail walks on the weekend (if your dog is okay with car ride), indoor play time with lots of toys and cuddling at my couch. When you go on vacation, your pup will enjoy his/her vacation at our house! For senior dogs or dogs with special needs, I’ll adjust the routine according to their situations. ** Your dog MUST be up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) and prevention for common parasites(e.g. roundworm, heartworm) and fleas and ticks. For large breeds, I’m able to watch only 3 years or above unless well trained for walks.

Dana was a fantastic sitter for my 2 dogs! It was the first time our doggies were staying with someone other than familiar family. Dana was very responsive and we did a meet&greet before the booking. I was initially quite worried that my dogs would be anxious but Dana put me at ease with constant communication, videos and photos. My one dog has a skin allergy and Dana kept me updated on how she was coping and gave good advice. My dogs were well cared for, comfortable and had a good time while we were away so we could enjoy our vacation with peace of mind. Dana is a wonderful sitter and I would absolutely rebook next time.
Dana took great care of our golden retriever during her 10 day stay! She took her on walks through trails and played with her with lots of the toys that she had at her house. Dana sent us regular updates with pics and videos to show us how she was doing. We were so happy and relieved that our dog was having such a good time while we were away!

I have a fenced backyard with a deck. Pups can enjoy napping on the deck when the weather is nice. They will be separated during mealtimes and will get some treats in between meals if you like. I may board dogs of different sizes at the same time, but friendly dogs only.

Proof of vaccination is required for the first time. Unfortunately I do not board dogs with extreme separation anxiety, excessive barking, or have a tendency of swallowing socks, rocks or other indigestible items.
A typical day
Our day starts with a quick morning walk. When we return, the dogs will have breakfast. We go for a longer walk in the afternoon. Dinner time is around 6-7pm and they may have a walk before bedtime if the weather is warm. In the evening, I play tug of war or fetch with active dogs. Dog plays are always under supervision. During the day, I have work meetings so most of the them just nap in the living room or in my study with me.

I work from home during the week. When I’m out my mom is home, therefore we always have someone in the house. There is a big open space in the living room with toys and the dogs like to play there. We also have a runway in the basement for playing ball and fetch. A typical day starts with a short morning walk, a longer one in the afternoon. High energy dogs will receive 1 hour - 1.5 hour of exercise in total during a typical day. Low or medium energy dog will have much shorter walks.
