Pet care experience
I have two rescue dogs (and a cat!) and am an animal lover through and through. I love to stay active with my pups - hiking, biking and exploring Tahoe as much as possible. Whether it be a hike, trip to the lake or simply a potty break followed by play time and cuddles, I am happy to help with whatever your dogs’ needs are. I have volunteered at several animal shelters and am comfortable taking care of rescue pups that may need a bit more time warming up to strangers. Feel free to message me with any questions!

We booked Dana for a drop in visit for our dogs and she was great! We came back from a night out with noticeably less anxious and calm pups. She was quick to respond, and very communicative and thorough to ensure we were on the same page with everything regarding her visit. Thank you so much Dana! Dana was so great with my pup! She saved the day on very short notice, he had a blast, and she also gave him his midday pill, which is not always easy! Super communicative and helpful - would definitely book Dana again!

We went on a 4 day vacation and Dana stayed with our 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 lizards. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She took GREAT care of all our pets and the house and has a special way with dogs who take awhile to warm up to unfamiliar people. We have never really used a pet sitter other than family members to watch our fur babies...so was a little nervous about the whole process...especially since one of our dogs comes from an abusive background and can be shy and nervous....but ended up being so thankful and grateful to find Dana. If I could give her TEN stars...I would!

I love any and all dogs. Prior to sitting for your pup, I would like to be made aware of any behavior quirks (both good and bad!). Also, I would like to be aware of any food allergies or medical issues.
A typical day
I absolutely love being outdoors and am so thankful for the beautiful hiking Tahoe has to offer. With your permission, I would love to take your dog on a hike if possible!
