I Love Dogs
Pet care experience
I have loved and helped care for animals for as long as I can remember. I have more experience with dogs, but cats are great too! I volunteered probably hundreds of hours at this point. At my last duty station I volunteered at a Senior Dog Sanctuary. In addition to walking, I can jog with and/or brush your pup :) I don't have a set schedule at the moment, but if the timing lines up I would love to spend time with your buddy :) We adopted our dog (Cocker Spaniel) in 2022, and I also grew up with Spaniels at home (we had a fenced yard they could run around) and have watched so many other kinds too. If your buddy is able and would like we could jog too :) When at my home, I allow pets on our furniture, but if that would confuse them we could keep that consistent (I'll probably end up on the floor with them anyway:). I like to go on adventures sometimes too (AKA - explore a trail or park). Sometimes I keep treats in my Softball bag and trunk in case I come across a dog <3

A majority of what I do through Rover is going to your place to get your buddy outside. I try to respect your home and your privacy, so if you include where your pet's items are (leash, brush, treats, etc.) I can go right to them and not have to go through more of your residence.
Information Dana V. would like to know about your pet
Some information that could be useful is are they in shape to jog? Do they have any injuries I should know about? How's their vision/hearing? How are they with kids/other dogs? Do they try to chase rabbits/squirrels/birds/cats/etc? Do they tug at the leash or try to escape? How do they feel about bicycles/joggers going by? Do they have a history of seizures? Or any other health/behavior characteristics.
A typical day
I like to go on adventures with them (i.e. explore a trail and/or park). If the dog is able, I like to jog with them some too :) If you have a brush I could brush their coat. But tell me what your buddy likes :0)

Availability
Many people work during the day, and that is when a lot of requests for getting a dog outside are for. I don't currently have a full-time job, and have a relatively flexible schedule.
