Pet care experience
I just lost my best friend (in profile pic) after 13 years, just a few months ago. I will miss him so much but can't wait to incorporate more dogs in my life (always)I have a quiet apartment right off City Park and look forward to spoiling your dog while you're away- knowing he/she will be safe, exercised and spoiled rotten! I have reciprocated with friends and neighbors with pet sitting for over 20 years, and look forward to hanging with lots of different doggos!

We can’t recommend Dana highly enough. She watched our two older pups and was so communicative and wonderful. Her kindness radiates as soon as you meet her and it made us feel immediately comfortable leaving our two babies with her.
Dana was amazing with our two dogs! She was very communicative while we were gone and gave the boys lots of love and walks. We’ll definitely use her again soon!

I have a cozy apartment in a very quiet neighborhood near City Park. You are welcome to bring their crates, dog beds, or they can make themselves comfortable cuddled up next to me on the couch. There is also a fully-fenced patio with an elevated X-large dog bed if they want to be outside while I'm home. Otherwise the front yard is a non-fenced, grassy area and a lot of my neighbors have friendly dogs, too. My home is quiet, calm and cozy. I have AC in the summer and plenty of cuddles to offer year-round.

Every dog has their own special personality, breed characteristics and unique circumstances they have come from. I believe keeping a dogs 'routine' as close to normal, while you're away, is vital to them feeling safe and comfortable. I want to hear all about your dogs preferences, favorite treats and quirky idiosyncrasies that are special to them so they have a wonderful time while you're away, too!
A typical day
I love hiking with dogs. Some of my favorite spots are Bear Creek Lake, the platte river "city walk," with a stop at the boutique pet store, cherry creek off-leash dog area, City Park, and more vigorous hikes such as the Chavez trail, off Chief Hosa exit (all cleared by owner preferences, of course!)

Availability
I work 4 days a week (usually Mondays off) and live 2 miles from my place of work, with the flexibility to go home at lunch for a potty break, during the day. Otherwise on the weekends and in the evenings on weekdays, I would be excited to go on walks or hikes, lazy grass rolls... whatever your fur babe likes to do! I am also happy to sit peacefully with the seniors, as I have a soft spot in my heart for these beautiful animals- losing my own senior bestie more recently.
