Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my whole life, from labs and beagles to Great Danes and a Brittany. Friends often ask me to watch their dogs and I love it!

Dana was there when we needed her. We were a last minute booking and I'm so glad she was around on a holiday weekend. She knew what she was doing! Very easy going and had a great way of introducing my dogs to hers. She took great pictures with a short update and seemed confident with handling them.
Dana was very flexible with timing. We booked some time back and when we arrived in the area our plans changed and needed more help from Dana so we could spend more time in Mackinac City and Mackinaw Island. Boddie had a great time playing with Dana's dogs. Appreciated Dana's flexibility and care for Boddie so we could play!
Dana was amazing! Timely communication, sent updates, very kind.
Mousse and Bullet were well cared for during their 10 day stay. Lots of walks and play time as well as cuddles. Dana sent us pictures daily and pups seemed happy and content!

I have two friendly labs, a cat, and a large yard with a pond. The animals are treated like part of the family. I know how much I love my animals, so I understand how much you love yours. I’ll make sure they are safe and cared for when they can’t be with you.

I would need to know when and how they like to be fed, any medications or special needs, how they like to sleep, their favorite activities and how they get along with others.
A typical day
I like to start the day out with a walk with the dogs, or throwing the tennis ball with my dogs. They love to play fetch. I take them out again during my lunch- we all need to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. In the evening I like to take my dogs for a walk, to visit our farm, or to the lake for a swim. Depending on the dog, I would modify the activity to meet the needs of the dog. I keep the Rover dogs I watch on a leash during walks. I don’t want to take any chances with your fur babies!

I am working from home most of the week. My kids are all pretty much grown, so I’ve got plenty of time to devote to making sure the dogs get plenty of attention, care and exercise.
