Pet care experience
From growing up with a family Labrador to raising a service dog in training with my college roommates to taking care of my neighbors’ and friends’ furry friends, I have ample experience caring for pets! I take my Rover bookings seriously and make sure to remain constantly reachable, clarify any questions promptly, and leave each space in great condition upon the completion of my stay. I would love to show your pets some love in your absence while they are missing their main squeeze so you are able to enjoy your time away from them and come home to well cared for dogs and kitties.

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, including one dog with lots of health issues who hadn't been away from me for more than 12 hours since I adopted him in 2020 and is very clingy/not good with others. Dana came over for a few introductory meetings and then house- and pet-sat and did a fantastic job with all the animals and the house in general. I will 100% work with her again! Thank you, Dana!

Dana not only did a wonderful job taking care of and catering to my pups, but she took great care of our home while we were out of town for over a week. It’s important to meet the animals where they are socially. Happy to give energetic belly rubs or connect with your pet through a little pat pat on the head and some kissy noises. Open to fluffy cuddles while your pet helps me work or mutual solitude on opposite sides of the same room- whatever your pet is feeling, I will adapt to it. Happy to crate animals if and when needed. Will take your pet out for frequent potty breaks. Happily will go on morning and/or afternoon walks with your pet. Will send as many play date pictures as you desire.

I would love to know how they interact with humans and other dogs we may encounter on walks. Are they prone to dart away at any opportunity and are they skiddish when trying to retrieve them? How often do they usually potty on walks? Do they like a long walk around the neighborhood or do they tire after a few blocks? Either is fine with me!
A typical day
We will partake in belly rubs, playing with toys (if they’re into that sort of thing), strolling around the neighborhood- whatever you’d like for us to do. If I am hanging around during the work day, your pet will help me stay on track while we are both rewarded with hourly breaks with as much or as little energy as your pet is wanting.

Availability
I work from home with a generally flexible schedule that allows for pet attention, walks, and potty breaks. I am usually pretty flexible on weekends as well.
