Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Dana and my love of cats and dogs started with my childhood pets. From early on I loved Great Danes and Dachshunds (very differen- I know!), and have always had a special place in my heart for calico cats! In college I started pet sitting for a family friend and since then I have been watching people’s fur babies both young and old. Most recently I have been working with foster dogs and training them. I have special experience with dogs with shy/anxious behaviors and geriatric cats. I am comfortable with pets that require medicine in the form of pills and injections. Whatever their needs- I will be happy to help out and keep your fur baby company while you are away!

Dana is awesome! Truffles is shy at first but Dana was patient with her and Truffles came around quickly! She sent lots of great pictures and communicated frequently. The house was better than we left it. I'd highly recommend Dana!
Dana is wonderful! She is kind, understanding, and really seems to love dogs. She kept us up to date frequently throughout the duration of our dog’s stay. Our dog seemingly was very relaxed around her and appeared to have a lot of fun!

Dana was awesome!! She took great care of our pets and home while we were away and sent tons of photos and updates. It was our first time using rover and having someone stay in our home, and she made us feel so comfortable knowing they were in great hands with her.

In my home, they will be welcome to be on the chair and bed. There is also a dog potty area on the apartment grounds and park close by for longer walks! In the clients home, I will be respectful of the clients privacy and will make sure to be thorough with completing the tasks as well as attentive to the pet’s needs.

A typical day
I loved taking the foster dog I trained for long walks (and runs if they are up for it!) as well as giving them fun games and toys for enrichment. I can also continue building their tricks/working on tricks they already know if the owner is open to it!

Availability
I own my own business and work most of the week from home, but occasionally go into the office for no more than 4 hours at a time depending on the day. On the days I go in, I usually can run back home after two hours if your pet needier frequent potty breaks/check ins!
