Pet care experience
I’ve been a pet owner for most of my life. I’ve owned dogs, cats, parakeets, ducks, hamsters, and fish to name a few. I love all animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I strive to keep your pets as comfortable as possible while also showing them the same affection I’d show my own. In the past, I worked at a dog resort and spa. I not only held the title of pet care associate but also was a shuttle driver for the pets. I currently have a dog of my own; Tate Ann who is a 3 yr old beagle. I frequently house and pet sit for family and friends. My usual sitting jobs include a german shepard, beagles, shitzu mixes, two coon hounds and ducks. I look forward to adding more animal babies to my sitting jobs!

I would like to highly recommend Dana for all your pets Needs. My 3 dogs adore her, she even made friends with my one Bernese Mnt dog, Bernie. This boy is afraid of EVERYONE and doesn’t like people at all. He was abused as a puppy, and came to live at his forever home in November of 2022 when he was 7 months old. This poor dog would not look, nor come near my husband for 1 1/2 yrs, let alone take food from anyone but his mommy - (me 🥰). In October of 23 my husband and brought another puppy home and needed some help with potty breaks. We went on River and noticed Dana’s profile. We called her, had a meet and greet with all 3 of my kids. Dogs can sense if someone is an a&&hole. They all showed positive signs with her and we set up a date to start. Well my puppy and Doberman fell in love with her and it was now Bernie’s turn. She gave me an update when she left my house and told me she gave Bernie and treat and he TOOK IT FROM HER HAND!🖐️!!! This does NOT HAPPEN EVER. He felt so at ease with Dana that he took the treat. I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE IT TO THIS DAY!!! That right there says ALOT about Dana. She is always on time, gives all the dogs the same attention time (if my puppy allows it) and always give us a report of what and how everyone was doing. She is wonderful.

I have a decent sized back yard with two separate dog tie outs. Inside my home I have multiple pet gates in case I need to separate fur babies. I own multiple dog crates and also have a multi-level cat cage if needed. When sitting in a clients home, I am extremely respectful of the space. I know pets can be nervous when their parents are gone, so I try to keep them as comfortable as possible.

I think meeting with you and your pets is an extremely important first step. Secondly, I really appreciate detailed instructions concerning feeding schedules, desired treats/toys, medications, and any other special needs. The more information you can provide, the better I can care for your pet!
A typical day
I have several mental stimulation games that we can play with depending on if your pet is allowed treats. I love to walk around the neighborhood and see new sights.

Availability
I currently work exclusively through pet sitting/care. For some of my sitting jobs I have to travel out of state. I also take time to volunteer with my local animal shelter. My availability will be reflected in my calendar which I update frequently.
