60 yrs of breeding and loving dogs!
Pet care experience
I grew up raising and breeding Beagles. Beagles are very easy going dogs. Great with kids! They are smarter than we are led to believe and are excellent escape artists. Training them was easy. The would sit and listen and not dart off. Sweet pets. My next dogs were Lhasa Apsos. A very high maintenance breed. When in full coat it can take hours to groom. They are BC dogs.(before children).They are the epitome of a lap dog! My most recent dog was Jax. A Jack Russell Terrier. A very high maintenance dog. He was very intelligent and very in tune with me and my emotions. He would get me playing with him and I would forget what was bothering me. Jax was very loyal and protective of me. Almost to a fault. Jax was with me for 17 years. With all this history with a number of breeds of dogs. I’m sure I’ll be able to make friends with your pet!

Dana has always loved animals. We grew up with dogs and cats. I'm sure he would have a dog now if his Landlady would approve. I'm his sister so I think I know his affection for animals.
Dana is a born caregiver, whether of humans or animals. He is kind and gentle and dependable. I don’t have a dog, I have cats and rats, but I have depended upon him many times to care for them. I also watched him with his long time beloved dog, Jax. He loved Jax, and made sure all his needs were met. I highly recommend Dana!

A typical day
Usually, I will stay in the neighborhood, where the pet might be more familiar. Depending on the neighborhood, I find different directions to walk. Vary the terrain. The degree of the dogs abilities will determine the activities. The standards, playing tug with a toy, fetch, tricks. I try to be very interactive with the pet. Helps build trust.
