Pet care experience
We have been dog “parents” for over 5 years. We both grew up in houses/families with dogs, so we both have been caring for dogs ever since we were kids. We adopted our first fur baby, Chance, in 2018. We adopted our newest fur baby, Chandler, in 2021. We are not just dog owners; we are lifelong dog lovers, too! Our dogs are family, and we will treat your dogs like family while they are here, too!

Always so nice to leave Benny with Dana and Joel. Benny is always happy when we pick him up.
Jacky spent the night to familiarize himself to Dana and Joel and their doggies.. Everything went smooth-Dana sent lots of pictures showing a happy Jacky hanging out with his new friends. I feel confident he will be fine when I go on my 12 day trip.
Dana and Joel were excellent caretakers and Brandy had a great time with them. Would definitely recommend and would book again.
They took such good care of our dog, and sent us sweet pictures and updates each day.

We have a fenced-in backyard that your dog can run and play in and use for frequent potty breaks. We have two sweet pups of our own, so your dog will always have friends while they’re here. We can easily take your dog on walks as our neighborhood is very walkable! We have many toys for your dog to play with. Dogs are welcome on furniture in our home, because our dogs are family, and your dog will be treated as family when they are here, too. We do not require dogs to be crate-trained, but we can crate your dog at bedtime if you need us to do so/if your dog is more comfortable that way. If you would like, we will be happy to send you frequent updates/pictures of your dog while they are here as well.

If so, what do they take, and how often is it administered? -Does your dog have any allergies? -Is your dog spayed/neutered? -Is your dog up-to-date on all vaccinations (rabies, DHPP, bordetella)? -Does your dog get along with other dogs? -Where does your dog typically sleep? -Is your dog house-trained (potty-trained)? -Does your dog have any medical conditions or any special needs we should know about? -What else should we know about your dog? -What can we do to make your dog feel comfortable and happy while they are here?
A typical day
Your dog can run and play in our fenced-in backyard, enjoy frequent walks in our very walkable neighborhood, and hang out with our two sweet fur babies while they are here. They are welcome on furniture in our home and can enjoy snuggles/naps on the couch and lots of playtime with our abundance of dog toys.

Availability
Dana is currently home full-time, and Joel works from home sometimes, too, so your dog will consistently have someone here to look after them/keep them company. We feed our dogs twice daily, and they receive frequent potty breaks. However, we are very flexible and willing to make adjustments to our schedule, as needed, that will meet your dog’s specific needs and make your dog feel comfortable and happy.
