Pet care experience
I began my animal care interest first as a student, then a volunteer turned employee at my local humane society and have helped pets find their fur-ever homes for 8+ years. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and rodents and even some barnyard animals in my time pet sitting. I have provided services for all sizes and ages of dogs and cats. My own dog was born deaf and I have a special spot in my heart for differently abled pets :). At home (away from college) I have had a catahoula leopard dog, two parakeets and a snake. In order to provide the best care for your pet(s), I always would love to do a meet and greet or have a conversation about your furry friends if possible in advance of bookings.

Dana was great with darla. Sent me many pictures and showed her lots of love. She was flexible with pickup time when my flight was delayed. I'll definitely be booking with her again.
Dana did a great job the our two dogs. She met them before and asked a lot of great questions, so she was well prepared when watching them. The boys got lots of exercise and snuggles and came home happy and healthy. Dana also took lots of fun photos and sent us regular updates.
Excellent sitter! She kept me updated all weekend with messages and pictures. Mugs came home happy and tired! I would definitely recommend Dana!
Dana is so sweet and kind. My sweet girl warmed right up to her. I can tell Dana has extensive experience working with animals it shows in interactions and her patience. So happy to have found her! Thank you love!

I live in a spacious apartment near north campus/city park with (no other furry friends) near 2 great parks for long walks and exploring. My goal is to make your pet's stay and visits as comfortable as possible while maintaining your routines and pet parenting practices. My home is pet and kid-free, clean and pet-safe. Due to boarding out of my apartment, I can not host excessively loud friends.

I would love to hear your pet's routine to know their usual expectations for meals/potty/etc. Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors ahead of time so I can accommodate their needs <3. I have no special breed/ size preferences.
A typical day
Pets can expect to be made comfortable however that looks for them- be it lots of active movement for energetic furry friends or quiet relaxing time for shyer friends. I am active and try to fill my own days with lots of active time and would love to fill your pet's time with lots of exploration and stimulation!

Availability
I am available full time for your pet! I currently only take classes online, so I am available and home throughout the day for playdates, walks, and check-ins as well as overnight in-home care. I am on a fitness journey and am excited to incorporate walking and active play with pets into my own goals to move more!
