Pet care experience
We are flexible and have medical training! We have grown up with small and big dogs alike, ranging from marathon-running Labrador’s to couch-potato Pugs. We have a very active lifestyle and embrace the inclusion of dogs in it, but we are urbanites and understand the needs of apartment pooches or inactive breeds. We have trained and cared for puppies, foster dogs and a variety of breeds who need varied levels of structure. We have a very large, pet-friendly condo a few blocks away from two great dog parks! One of us is a licensed Physician Assistant and has experience administering medications via oral and injection routes to people as well as dogs, also knowing dog CPR. The other has adopted a foster dog and has a keen sense of how to make a dog feel very safe.

Dana and Emre are the best dog parents and dog sitters! Their dog, Rama, is the most laid back well behaved dog I know. For a big dog, small dogs have no trouble being around him and this is due to Dana and Emre’s training and demeanor. In the past I’d had Dana watch my old dog, Batman, who had horrible anxiety and barked at anything that made noise. She took Batman’s stress in stride when a lot of others would not have been able. I have a puppy now and Dana, Emre and Rama have all been great with the crazy ball of energy. There’s nothing they can’t handle!
Dana is a fantastic pet sitter, and I trust her whole-heartedly. She goes above and beyond meeting my pups’ basic Maslow’s Needs. After food, water, and potty, Dana provides the pups with exercise (for those who need it/are able), enrichment (for those who look bored), and emotional support (for those who look pouty). She is a true gem, and your pets would be lucky to have an Aunt Dana.

A typical day
We will do urban walks to local dog parks and hills depending on the dog’s fitness level. We love to take dogs on jogs if that is part of their normal routine. We will engage the dogs in activities per owner preference.
