Pet care experience
Ever since I was about 10 or so, I have been caring for pets galore. We're talking neighbors, family members, friends, etc. I am no stranger to big dogs and small kitties, so I can take anything you throw my way. I take pride in making sure pets feel loved when I come to visit, so I won't hesitate to sit down and play, make sure they have enough time outside, and thoroughly check on them before I head back out. Your pets are in great hands with me! :)

As with work and travel comes throughout the busy year, sometimes I am unable to take my dogs along for the ride. For years I have been able to lean on Dana to help care for my babies while I am unable. I have had her drop in and check on them on the days I am not there. With small accidents, changes in diet or care for the dogs Dana is quick on her feet and is able to help in any way she is needed. My animals absolutely love her and she is incredible. Could not recommend a more suitable candidate to watch over your most prized possessions!

I monitor pets while they are eating, especially if there are more than one to ensure everyone gets their fair share of food. When animals are going outside, I stand out with them to make sure business is taken care of, but also to watch and make sure they stay near and inside the fence. I always check any bedding they may have been lounging on to make sure there were no messes or anything I need to tend to. Needless to say, I am thorough and your little furry family members will be in great care with me!

I would prefer to know if there are any triggers they have, for example places they do not like being petted, any noises that might scare them, any neighborhood dogs they do not like to be around. I also need to know what their daily routine is, so I can keep their time with me as comforting and normal as possible. When it comes to walks, it really helps to know how they are on walks (do they pull, do they have a special harness they wear, are they friendly when they pass people/other dogs, etc.). All of this is very important when it comes to me caring for your dog!
A typical day
When I watch a dog, I like to know what their favorite toys are so I can play with them inside or outside (whichever is preferred by their human), as well as where their favorite spots to walk are (as long as it somewhere I feel comfortable going). I understand that they will probably be very nervous and worried about where their human has gone, so I want to make sure they feel as comfortable and cared for as possible!

Availability
I do work a full-time job, so I will need to check on them early in the AM and after at least 5 PM Monday-Thursday. I have a half-day on Fridays, so I am available in the early afternoon. Saturday and Sunday though, I am as free as a bird!
