Pet care experience
Dan has had dogs most of his life and we have had our 7 year old pug since the day he was born. We had the experience of breeding a family dog which is how our pug came in to the world. We have also spent lots of time walking dogs for neighbours and friends, and had many dogs come to stay with us over the years. We both work from home so dog sitting fits perfectly in to our routine. The dogs never get left alone for longer than the time it takes to go to the shop! We go for walks every lunch and are happy to do more if it’s needed. We live in a semi detached home with a sizeable garden, which is fully enclosed.

Dan and Olivia took wonderful care of my 11 year old jack Russel. He was really happy to go there in the mornings and reluctant to leave. Got loads of pictures of him looking relaxed and comfy and getting lots of attention and cuddles. Thank you

Dan was an excellent walker for my Husky. My dog was calm and relaxed when I returned home. Will use Dan again!

We have a fully enclosed garden to keep any pets safe and a pug to keep your pets company! Our dog is allowed on our furniture when clean and will often spend most of the time on our knee. We can avoid letting pets on furniture if the owner prefers for us to do that for behaviour purposes.

A typical day
We go for walks every day, on hot days we like to take our dog swimming to make sure he stays cool, or have a paddling pool out! They have access to our enclosed garden space.

Availability
We are in throughout the day and go for a walk during our lunch, this can vary between 30-60 minutes depending on how hot it is. In high heats we will sometimes opt to take a shorter walk down to the lake so our dog can have a swim to cool off, or we’ll stay in the garden with a paddling pool out.
