Dan is an excellent caretaker! I've relied on him to take care my dog, as well as my sister's geriatric cat in the past. Despite sometimes being hesitant around men, my dog immediately trusted Dan because of his calm and kind demeanor. Dan took the time to make sure that Benny got adequate walks, treats, play time. He treats my dog like his own son. He also is an excellent communicator. I was confident that my dog was in good hands because Dan kept me in the loop. I also have had Dan take care of my sister's elderly cat, who requires medication twice a day. Dan had no problem helping out with this and did an excellent job making sure Sadie got what she needed, in addition to spending extra time with her so that she felt loved/did not get lonely. Lastly, I've been around while Dan has taken care of other peoples' pets. Dan is thoughtful and understands the importance of meeting each animal's unique needs. He does a great job creating a comfortable environment in his own home for my friends' pets, in addition to being a reliable and trustworthy helper if needed to drop in to one of our houses to take care of an animal.
