Pet care experience
My parents had a golden retriever named Ginger at the time of my birth. She was such a sweet dog and I have many fond memories of her. When I started high school we added a German Shepherd to our family that I named Squall. He lived to be 14 but had lost his ability to walk a year before. I would carry him outside to use the bathroom every day. I currently have a dog rescued from the streets of Mexico named Peanut.

Pugsley loves staying with Dan. I came home to a very happy dog, and loved videos showing me he was doing well.
Dan is great! When I first reached out he asked me for a meet and greet which I thought was very important. We left our chocolate lab with him for 2 nights, and we are going to continue to leave Diesel with him. Everyday he sent me a video, he was very flexible and communicated the whole entire weekend very promptly. Overall Dan is very responsible and great dog sitter! Highly recommend him!
Dan is responsible, responsive (sends updates and videos, answers questions promptly), calm, kind, and he obviously cares about these dogs. My 4 year old Labrador had a very good time with him. I recommend Dan and would use his services again.

I have a fenced yard with a fair amount of space for dogs to run and play. Child safety gates have been installed throughout the home so dogs can be separated while eating or if they need some space. I have lots of dog beds and a few crates as well. The dogs have access to a majority of the space in the home and I will be sleeping in the same room as them at night.

My cat is kept in a separate part of the house from the dogs so it is not necessary for your dog to be cat friendly. Unfortunately we are unable to care for dogs that are not friendly with other dogs.
A typical day
Younger or high energy dogs will generally be taken to the park or walked twice a day while Older or low energy dogs will be taken for one outing. At home they will have plenty of time to play in the backyard or sleep in one of our many pet beds, although some prefer to sleep on the cool hardwood floors. They will also receive a generous amount of love and affection.

I take everyone to the dog park in Santa Clara. High energy dogs/young pups may go to the park twice a day. Potty break every 1-2 hours in the backyard.
