Dan Hinz is a highly motivated pet care worker who has walked my dog Lucky a number of times and dog-sat for Lucky. I highly recommend Dan. He is kind and patient. Dan takes Lucky on long walks; Lucky gets so excited when he sees Dan, and is happy and thrilled to be with his favorite person!! I have had dog walkers and dog-sitters who let discipline and routine slip, but Dan is organized, dedicated, and amazing at keeping Lucky in good health and great spirits. Dan is great with all animals, and has a special knack for getting animals to trust and obey him. Dan has a cat of his own, and really "gets" them. Dan has made several helpful suggestions about how to keep my cat OJ happy with cat toys and different snacks. Although my laundry list of instructions included complicated issues with keeping Lucky from walking too close to other dogs, Dan was able to balance everything to the letter. My dog seemed happier at the end of a day with Dan, and I never had to worry about his well-being or safety.

We have known Dan since he was about 12 years old. As a young boy he had a dog that he cared for and trained. When he was older I had him come to my home and care for my two cats when we would be traveling and that could be for two weeks or more at a time. He was reliable and enjoyed doing so.
