I have owned dogs and cared for them throughout my life, from being very young to today. I like to make sure every dog and cat can live their best life.

Dan was a great dog and house sitter. Our two dogs loved him and he sent lots of pictures of the fun they had. We’d definitely use him again!
Dan has looked after my current and previous dogs. He takes great care, giving them lots of attention and sends multiple updates a day. I don’t worry at all when leaving him to watch over my dogs!

I will follow any directions left by the owner to the letter. I let the dog express what their needs are and take care of them immediately (bathroom breaks, water, walks, etc.)
Information Dan F. would like to know about your pet
I have experience with administering oral medications to dogs, in the manner that you suggest; you know them best!! Unfortunately I have zero experience with administering anything more involved (injections, etc) so you may want to select someone more suited to that type of care. I will follow any instructions to the letter. I know dogs benefit from routines, especially with respect to medications.
A typical day
I am a early riser (7am) and so I like to take a quick jaunt outside to take care of bathroom needs, and usually the first feeding of the day takes place. Depending on the energy needs of the dog I like to walk them before noon, and take cues from the dog as far as when to return home. Then, if available we can play with some dog toys, fetch, tug of war (they always win, but I make them work for it!) that sort of thing. Then usually it’s time for the good boy or girl to take a nap, second feeding of the day, and then I let the dog tell me what’s next.

Availability
I work full time so my services are usually relegated to the weekend days, but I often have popular vacation dates off, so during school vacations for example; I am available.
