Pet care experience
I was an animal shelter director for over 18 years. I own 3 Great Danes, two cats, and have fostered many animals over the years. I am a true animal lover who loves being around and interacting with all animals big or small! My wife and I have an acre of fenced in yard and we actively walk our three large dogs multiple times a day. I am certified in pet first aid as well as teaching classes in pet first aid. I have experience with fearful, aggressive, old, and puppies. There is not a dog or breed that I have not had the chance as shelter director to interact with during my career or personal life. I am happy to answer any questions or to help animal owners in any way I can!

Dan and his wife were great sitters! They were very friendly and easy to coordinate with, and I really appreciated the little updates and pictures while I was away for a long weekend. I could really tell they were really experienced with dogs, and their qthree Great Danes were well behaved and were good play mates for my dog. I also really thought it was nice that they had a huge fenced in back yard, and that I didn't have to bring my crate with me, because they had an extra already in there home. I will definitely look to board with them again. I felt very safe leaving my pup with them while I was away, and knew he was in good hands.
Dan has always been my go to source for animal knowledge. There is no one that I would trust more to watch my dogs when we go out of town than Dan. He treats each dog as his own! I know my dogs love him!
