Pet care experience
i’ve had dogs my whole life, both large and small. I have done training work with 3 of my dogs over the years. I also have experience looking after friend’s and family’s pets while they are away.

Dan’s love for animals is incredibly apparent. He has always been wonderful with my animals, and has a calming presence that makes pets love him! He’s the kind of person that dogs and cats gravitate towards, because they immediately know he’s a friend. He will definitely treat your dogs like they are his own—and trust me, Sam is treated like a prince! I would absolutely recommend Dan to anyone looking for some extra help with their pets. He is professional, communicative, and compassionate.

I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved furry friend to Dan, a pet sitter/walker on Rover, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with his interaction and care for dogs. Dan has a natural ability to connect with dogs and make them feel comfortable in his presence. From the moment he met my pet, I could see the genuine love and affection he had for animals. He took the time to understand my pet's needs and preferences, ensuring that they were well taken care of. Dan's own dog was also a testament to his love and care for animals. Sam was well-behaved, friendly, and clearly well-trained. Watching Dan interact with his own dog and seeing their obvious love for him only reinforced my trust in his ability to care for my own furry friend. Overall, I highly recommend Dan as a pet walker/sitter. His love, care, and natural ability to connect with dogs is unparalleled, and I would not hesitate to entrust my furry friend to his care again in the future.
I cannot recommend Dan enough! He is a responsible and loving Dad to his own dog, Sammy, and has looked after my two dogs on the rare occasion I am out of town. They love him! Rest easy knowing your beloved pet is in good hands while you’re on a work trip or enjoying a vacation. 5 stars!

For home visits i begin by letting the dog(s) outside and checking their water followed by administering any medications if necessary. Then I like to round it out with some play time and pets! For walks I take them for a stroll through the neighborhood, always ready with water if needed. I am careful to watch the dog’s body language to ensure their comfort and find ways to make the walk as exciting and enriching as possible! I will also work with the dog on leash manners if possible or necessary.
