pure love

Pet care experience

My beloved yellow Lab, Clover, passed 2 years ago after being together for 12 years. I looked at providing services on Rover 8 months ago but couldn't bring myself to do it until now. The waves of grief have subsided enough and it's time for that level of connection - short lived as it is with Rover's services. Your baby will be well taken care of.

Great guy with a great outlook on life . We felt very comfortable knowing our Luna will be taken care of in the fashion we would have . Thank you, Dan

We arranged a meet & greet with Dan prior to our vacation to see if our dog Kona would be a good fit for Dan as a sitter. Kona is a large pit bull and Dan immediately was great with our dog. Kona can be intimidating and we wanted Dan to be comfortable as well. Dan accepted the challenge of watching him for a week, so we booked him. Dan is definitely a dog lover, and understands their needs on a physical & mental level. He took great care of Kona & gave him so much love. We received & appreciated the texts, photos & video updates via text or What’s App. while out of the country. Dan walked our dog often & has a fully gated backyard and a fenced community grassy area where Kona was able to run freely. Dan also has a kind neighbor that gave our dog lots of love & massages. Kona’s scheduled stay was over 4th of July weekend with fireworks/lots of noise. After observing our dogs anxiety during that time, Dan made Kona feel at ease by going out of his way to find natural calming supplements at a local Walmart. We love that Dan is very observant and cares very much for the well being of our pet. It was a success to calm our dog. We will definitely rebook with Dan if he’s up to the challenge again with our BIG Pittie. Don’t hesitate to book with Dan. He is great with dogs! ??

Lives in an apartment
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets

Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Dan C. would like to know about your pet

Was the dog adopted and if so, are there any signs that he/she went thru some sort of abuse. Are there any particular quirks the dog has. Just common sense stuff. What about food and treats - what kind and how much.

A typical day

Walks around the neighborhood are a good start. After that would be Buddy Todd Park which is close by - an area that I've walked many times. There are a lot of people who bring their dogs there and they have always been very respectfull of each other.
