Fun labradoodle needs playmates
Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs for over 30 years. They are precious to me. I currently have a Labradoodle named Bailey who is 5 years old and full of play. We have a fenced-in yard for plenty of ball play, sniffing, and relaxing, plus I go for walks every evening to check out our neighborhood. Our family has hosted many Rover dogs, and the dogs are like a part of our family. During the summer I am an accountant, but I only work part-time, so I can be home during the week sometimes. (I cannot watch any dogs January-April). My wife and daughter have both helped with Rover dogs, and they get plenty of attention. I live in St. Louis County near Westport Plaza and our house is centrally located on a quiet street.

Dan and his family were very accommodating with our situation. We ended up not needing a dog sitter for the entire weekend since our trip got canceled. We hope to be able to use Dan in the future.

I prefer smaller to mid-sized dogs, as that is the size I've dealt with my entire life. We prefer crate-trained dogs and definitely ones that are potty trained, though I know mistakes sometimes happen. I have experience both with puppies and with senior dogs, and both can be a fun challenge.
A typical day
We have a quiet neighborhood that I love to walk with my dog. Occasionally we go to Creve Coeur Park. Our back yard is completely fenced in, so I love to sit on the deck and wait for my dog to bring balls and other items to me to throw out. We also have a large assortment of dog toys inside that she has no trouble sharing.
