Pet care experience
I’ve owned 2 dogs in my life, and plan on getting more. I’ve also helped my room mate care for his old English sheepdog(+100lbs). I know from experience that all dogs have special needs and try my best to take care of them the best I can. I’ve fostered service dogs during college. This included playing, feeding and all around caring for the service dog in training. We also taught them tricks and socialized them with different environments including stores, sporting events, classes, restaurants, and other various settings. I am willing to walk, play with, feed, and even bathe dogs. Whatever needs done will get done. Not afraid of any dogs, and willing to work with shy ones. All dogs need cared for, sometimes you just need a little help.

My dog can be nervous with new people. Dan was a great sitter who knew how to handle her. I came home to a happy, well-fed pup!
Dan would be a tremendous addition to the Rover family. Not only is he an excellent dog-dad to Treg, but he was very loving and caring for my boyfriend's dog and parent's dog. I would book Dan to watch my dog in an instant if I lived closer!
Dan has watched our dog and house a number of times and is a very thorough and thoughtful person. We trust him completely and he followed our instructions with our old guy Jake to the letter. In fact, Jake is always extremely happy to see Dan, often ignoring me to run to him with tail wagging! He has done this on a single night and several times when we've been gone for longer than a week; we've never been concerned about the house or Jake. I've also worked with Dan during events where his responsibilities were complicated and numerous, and he's always handled things expertly and diligently. With his personality and abilities he would be a great addition to the Rover staff. I recommend him highly and with all confidence.
I've seen Dan foster two service dogs in training so he knows how to train and properly handle dogs. He adopted a puppy of his own and didn't even lose his cool after the puppy had a massive diarrheas on the floor. He treats "doggo's" in his care as if they're family and loves them unconditionally.
