Its safe to say I've been around dogs my whole life. From preening pristine Afghan Hounds to giving rescues the love and care every dog deserves. I have my own apartment and am always available for any dog that doesn't like to be alone. I grew up with three precious dogs in my childhood with space to roam and since moving to the city I've always been the go-to dog sitter for friends and family alike no matter their behaviour, diet, exercise or social needs. I'm here for you!

Damien and his girlfriend were super lovely. They took care of my dog for a night and I was super pleasantly surprised that Onyx warmed up to them really quickly. He only does that with people he feels comfortable with so that is a really good indication of how well Damien and his girlfriend made Onyx felt!

We first met up with Damien to see if he and Schrödinger would get along. Sho, a very shy quiet nervous boy, took an immediate liking to Damien - something that doesn’t happen very often. It would be the first time we would leave Sho with a sitter and we were nervous but Damien did very well in comforting us and Sho. Sho spent 10 days with Damien who made sure our little one was well cared for and was comfortable. We also received regular updates about our little one. Damien was also really patient with our little human who asked him to photograph Sho. Damien did a very good job with our baby who seemed very happy during his stay at Damien’s. I have a spacious 2 room apartment in the heart of Kreuzberg which I share with my partner allowing for dogs that prefer their own space or like to have company. I'm just minutes from the canal and Gorlitzer park though I prefer to walk through Hasenheide and Tempelhof to make use of the great dog parks. My building is secure with a fenced off back yard separate from the pretty reichenberger Strasse.

If your dog has special behavioural requirements that is not a problem as I have have a lot of experience with dogs but please be as specific as possible about which situations can present as stress triggers and I can tailor our routine around it.
A typical day
If the owner tells me that a dog is sociable I always try to introduce them to other dogs at local dog parks, allowing for freedom with full responsibility and a watchful eye. We have access to car and often spend the weekend walking at lakes outside the city. With the owner's permission I am confident to let the dog off the lead in the right environment but I will always clarify with the owner beforehand what they are comfortable with and I will never go outside of the terms and behaviours that the owner is comfortable with.

I work from 5 days a week aside from Tuesday mornings in the office during which time my partner is available to feed, walk, play, and cuddle when I can't :)
